Permit Branch:

The Permit Branch is responsible for processing Import Permits, Transit Transport Permits, Export Permits, Transport Permits and P-10 permits for the import, export, transport and service of Indian and Foreign Liquor, in accordance with the provisions of the Delhi Excise Act and Rules. All permit applications are submitted and processed through the e-Abkari Portal.
 

  • Import permits are issued to wholesale licensees for the import of duty-paid liquor from distilleries located in other States into Delhi. 
  • Transit Transport Permits are issued for the import of duty-paid liquor from Customs Bonded Warehouse to licensed L-32 Bonded Warehouse.
  • Transport permits are issued for the movement of liquor from wholesale licensees to retail liquor vends and licensed hotels, clubs, and restaurants.
  • Export permits are issued for the export of liquor from Delhi to other states in India.
  • P-10 permits are issued for the service of Indian and Foreign Liquor at a place other than the licensed premises.
